MANUAL UPDATE-DRIVEABILITY EMISS./#2 COOLANT FAN CONTROL

MODELS/YEARS 1989 CUTLASS CIERA WITH 3300 (VIN N) ENGINE

This bulletin is to update the Circuit Description of the V08 heavy duty fan option (Fan #2) in Section "6E3- C12", "Driveability And Emissions" of the 1989 Service Manual for Cutlass Ciera models equipped with a 3300 (VIN N) engine. This bulletin also applies to Section 8A, "Cell" 31.

Fan #2 (heavy duty) is controlled by coolant temperature only. It is calibrated to turn "ON" when the coolant temperature reaches approximately 106 deg. C. (223 deg. F) and "OFF" at approximately 102 deg.C. (216 deg. F).
