  1. Disconnect the PCM C2 connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.

Is the charge indicator ON?

Does the vehicle have a Head-Up Display (HUD)?

Disconnect the head-up display connector. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.

Is the charge indicator ON?

Replace the head-up display.

Does the charge indicator work correctly?

System OK

  1. Check circuit 25 for a short to the ground. Repair if necessary.
  2. If the circuit 25 is OK, replace the instrument cluster.

  1. Connect the PCM C2 connector.
  2. Disconnect the generator connector.
  3. Turn the gear selector switch to P (Park).
  4. Start the engine.
  5. Run the engine over 1200 RPM.

Is the charge indicator ON?

Check circuit 225 for a short to the ground.

Is the circuit OK?

Repair the circuit if necessary.
