If a comment on firm or hard front seat cushion is received, the following procedure can be used to soften either driver or panenger side front seats:
o See Figures 1 and 2.
o To determine if a correction has already been performed, reach under seat to check if center element (spring) is present. If so, continue to next step.
o Remove front seat.
o Loosen seat bottom trim. It is not necessary to remove adjusters.
o Remove two (2) hog rings from rear of seat trim to gain access to rear of element.
o Remove front and rear clips from center element.
o Open attaching tabs on seat frame at ends of element.
o Remove element only from side where condition exists.
o Reinstall seat trim.
o Reinstall seat.
