SUPPLEMENT FOR HANDLING PROCEDURES FOR THE GLOVE BOX

MODELS/YEARS: 1987 MODELS

This is a supplement to Dealer Management Bulletin 87-I-11 on the Par Excellence Glove Compartment Portfolio. Special portfolios have been released for both the Touring Sedan and the Toronado Trofeo.

The Touring Sedan portfolio, part number 22538021, is dark grey and contains an Owner's Manual (part number 22538023) with a dark grey cover. The Toronado Trofeo portfolio (part number 22538022) is black and contains a black-covered Owner's Manual (part number 22538024).

Every effort must be made to make sure the Touring Sedan and Toranado Trofeo are delivered with the appropriate portfolio. Do not use a portfolio intended for a regular Ninety-Eight or Toronado.

Some early production vehicles may have been equipped with the burgundy portfolio. Replacement portfolios will be shipped directly to the dealers from Oldsmobile at which time the dealer should assure that the correct portfolio is inserted in the glove box.
