Inspect the battery .

Remove fuse 7 from the relay center.

Turn the ignition to START.

Crank for 15 seconds and measure the voltage between the battery terminals.

Is the voltage more than the specified value?

8.0 V

Go to Step 2

Measure the voltage between the negative battery terminal and the engine block while cranking for 15 seconds.

Is the voltage less than the specified value?

0.5 V

Perform the Parasitic Load Test. Refer to Parasitic Load Test.

Measure the voltage between the positive battery terminal and solenoid terminal B while cranking for 15 seconds.

Clean the connections and repeat the test.

Replace the negative battery cable if the voltage is still incorrect.
