Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 97468  Size: SH
  1. Remove the transmission cooler hose clamps and the hose from the pipe.
  2. Remove the bolt and the clamp from the motor mount.

  3. Object Number: 97552  Size: SH
  4. Remove the oil cooler pipes from the radiator.

  5. Object Number: 97471  Size: SH
  6. Remove the oil cooler pipes from the transmission.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 97471  Size: SH
  1. Install the oil cooler pipes to the transmission.
  2. Tighten

    1. Tighten the ball check fitting to 52 N·m (38 lb ft).
    2. Tighten the pipe fitting to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the oil cooler pipes to the radiator.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the pipe fitting to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).

  5. Install the clamp and the bolt to the motor mount.

  6. Object Number: 97468  Size: SH
  7. Install the hose and the clamps.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the clamps to 2 N·m (16 lb in).
