Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 182320  Size: SH
  1. Open the rear compartment.
  2. Remove the mounting nuts from the rear compartment CD player housing.

  3. Object Number: 182315  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear compartment CD player.

  5. Object Number: 182306  Size: SH
  6. Remove the mounting bolts from the rear compartment CD player.
  7. Slide the rear compartment CD player from the housing.
  8. Remove the rear compartment CD player housing from rear compartment.

Installation Procedure

  1. Slide the rear compartment CD player into the housing.

  2. Object Number: 182306  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the mounting bolts to the rear compartment CD player.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear compartment CD player bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector to the rear compartment CD player.
  6. Install the rear compartment CD player housing to the rear compartment.

  7. Object Number: 182320  Size: SH
  8. Install the nuts to the rear compartment CD player housing.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the rear compartment CD player housing nuts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

  10. Close the rear compartment.
