- Disconnect the cruise control cable at the cruise control module and the throttle lever. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement .
- Ensure the cruise control cable moves in and out of the cruise control cable casing freely and smoothly. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement .
- Replace any sticking or binding cruise control cables. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement .
- Replace any cable adjuster lock that does not hold under normal operating conditions. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement .
