Removal Procedure
- Apply the heat to the molding to soften the adhesive tape.
- Remove the roof molding, begin at one end using a small flat-bladed tool and peel the molding away from the weld joint.
- Carefully lift the molding away from the weld joint.
- Clean the weld-joint molding surface area with a 50/50 mixture of isoproply alcohol and water.
Installation Procedure
- Remove five or six inches of the protective liner at the front edge of the molding.
- Align and center the front edge of the molding with the front edge of the weld joint.
- Use hand pressure to press the molding into place.
- Continue to peel back the liner to center the molding and press into the joint.
