Caution: To avoid personal injury:

•	Do not allow the repair material to come in contact with skin or eyes and avoid breathing vapors.

•	Do not use near sparks or open flame.

Important: 

•	Be sure the grid line repair material is not beyond the expiration date.

•	Repair decal or tape must be used to control width of repair area.

•	If decal is used, be sure the die-cut metering slot is the same width as the grid line.

•	Thoroughly stir the grid line repair material until a uniform color appears.

•	Make sure that there are no air bubbles in the grid line repair material in the area being repaired.

1. Wipe grid line area to be repaired clean using cloth dampened with denatured alcohol.
2. Mark grid line break on outside of rear window with a grease pencil.



3. Grid line repair (2) decal or two strips of tape positioned above and below repair area.
4. Using the brush supplied (3), spread the grid line repair material (1) so that it covers all areas of the cut out.

Notice: The grid line repair material must be cured with heat. To avoid heat damage to the interior trim, protect the trim near the repair area where heat is to be applied.

5. Without disturbing the grid line repair material carefully remove the decal or tape (2). The grid line repair material should be cured with heat.

Important: 

•	Without heat at least (24) hours at an ambient temperature of 21° C to 32° C (70° F - 90° F) are required for complete curing of repair materials. The repair area should not be physically disturbed until after that time.

•	The grid line will be electrically operative immediately after repair.




6. Using a heat gun, hold the heat gun nozzle 25  mm (1 inch) from surface heating the repair area for 2 to 3 minutes.
7. Connect the electrical connector.
8. Test the grid line operation to verify the grid line repair.
