Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement Front

1. Remove the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement .
2. Remove the parking brake pedal, if replaceing the left front hose. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal Assembly Replacement in Brakes.
3. Remove the hood release handle and cable. Refer to Hood Release Lever Replacement .
4. Remove the acoustical patch.
5. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .



6. Remove the sunroof drain hose from the sunroof module.
7. Remove the sunroof drain hose from the vehicle.

Pull out throught the A-pillar.

Important: Lubricate each end of the sunroof drain hose with general purpose lubricant GM P/N 12345579 or equivalent.




1. Install the sunroof drain hose to the vehicle.
2. Install the sunroof drain hose to the sunroof module.
3. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
4. Install the acoustical patch.
5. Install the hood release handle and cable. Refer to Hood Release Lever Replacement .
6. Install the parking brake lever, if replaceing the left front hose. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal Assembly Replacement in Brakes.
7. Install the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement .

Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement Rear

1. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
2. Remove the upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
3. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Disconnect the drain hose from the sunroof housing rear drain tube at the rocker panel.
5. Remove the tape at the upper corner of the C-pillar to rocker.
6. Remove the drain hose from through the hole in the C-pillar.
7. Disconnect the drain hose from the module fitting.
8. Remove the drain hose from the vehicle.

1. Install the sunroof drain hose to the vehicle.

Important: Lubricate each end of the hose with general purpose lubricant GM P/N 12345579 or equivalent .

2. Press the drain hose onto the module fitting until fully seated.
3. Route the drain hose through hole in the C-pillar inner and out through the roof rail.
4. Tape the drain hose to the C-pillar.
5. Press the drain hose onto the sunroof housing rear drain tube at the rocker until fully seated.
6. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
7. Install the upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement
8. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
