Removal Procedure

  1. Position the power seat adjusters to full-up and full forward.

  2. Object Number: 735349  Size: SH
  3. Remove the front seat.
  4. Place the seat on a bench lying on its back.
  5. Remove the horizontal and vertical drive cables from the adjuster motors.

  6. Object Number: 735352  Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors to the actuators.
  8. Disconnect the harness rosebud from the actuator bracket.

  9. Object Number: 735353  Size: SH
  10. Remove the seat adjuster support bracket nut.
  11. Remove the support bracket and actuators.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 735354  Size: SH
  1. Position the support bracket and actuators by the seat.
  2. Connect the horizontal and vertical drive cables.

  3. Object Number: 735353  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the seat adjustor support bracket nut.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the seat adjustor support bracket nut to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  6. Connect the electrical harness rosebud to the support bracket.
  7. Connect the electrical connectors to the actuators.
  8. Install the front seat.
