J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
3. Remove the lower air baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement .
4. Use J 38185 in order to remove the outlet hose clamp from the radiator.
5. Disconnect the outlet hose from the radiator.



6. Use J 38185 in order to disconnect the outlet hose clamp from the thermostat housing.
7. Remove the outlet hose.

1. Install the outlet hose.
2. Connect the outlet hose to the thermostat housing.
3. Use J 38185 in order to install the outlet hose clamp to the radiator.



4. Connect the outlet hose to the radiator.
5. Use J 38185 in order to install the outlet hose clamp to the radiator.
6. Install the lower air baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement .
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
