Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 281934  Size: SH
  1. Remove the coolant heater cord retainer from the upper radiator support.

  2. Object Number: 281933  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the left coolant heater electrical connector.
  4. Cut the engine left coolant heater cord strap (1) at the engine wiring harness.
  5. Remove the right coolant heater cord from behind the power steering pump (3).

  6. Object Number: 281932  Size: SH
  7. Cut the upper right coolant heater cord strap (2) at the engine wiring harness near the power steering lines.
  8. Cut the lower right coolant heater cord strap (1) at the engine wiring harness near the power steering lines
  9. Disconnect the right coolant heater electrical connector (3).
  10. Remove the coolant heater cord from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the coolant heater cord to the vehicle.
  2. Notice: The heater cord must not touch the engine, hot pipes, manifold, or any moving parts. Route the cord to the left front of the engine compartment securing with tie straps as necessary to prevent damage.

  3. Connect the right coolant heater electrical connector (3).
  4. Install a new lower right coolant heater cord strap at the engine wiring harness by the power steering lines (1).
  5. Install a new upper right coolant heater cord strap (2) at the engine wiring harness by the power steering lines.

  6. Object Number: 281933  Size: SH

    Notice: The heater cord must not touch the engine, hot pipes, manifold, or any moving parts. Route the cord to the left front of the engine compartment securing with tie straps as necessary to prevent damage.

  7. Install the right coolant heater cord behind the power steering pump (3).
  8. Install a new engine left coolant heater cord strap (1) at the engine wiring harness.
  9. Connect the left coolant heater electrical connector (4).

    Notice: The heater cord must not touch the engine, hot pipes, manifold, or any moving parts. Route the cord to the left front of the engine compartment securing with tie straps as necessary to prevent damage.

  11. Install the coolant heater cord retainer to the upper radiator support.
