Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the engine mount strut with the engine mount strut bracket at the upper radiator support.
  3. Install the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture .
  4. Raise and suitable support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  5. Remove the right (rear) lower engine mount nuts.
  6. Remove the left (front) lower engine mount nuts.
  7. Remove the right front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  8. Use the engine support fixture in order to raise the engine.
  9. Remove the power steering cooler pipe bracket. Reposition the power steering cooler pipe for access.

  10. Remove the right engine mount bracket bolts.
  11. Remove the right engine mount bracket assembly from the vehicle.

    12. Object Number: 293964 Size: SH
  12. Remove the right upper engine mount nuts.
  13. Remove the right engine mount from the engine mount bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 293964 Size: SH
  1. Install the right engine mount to the engine mount bracket.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the right upper engine mount nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 47 N·m (35 lb ft).

  3. Install the right engine mount bracket assembly.
  4. Install the right engine mount bracket bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).

  5. Install the power steering cooler pipe bracket.
  6. Install the power steering cooler pipe to the pipe bracket.
  7. Lower the engine using the engine support fixture.
  8. Install the right front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  9. Install the left lower engine mount nuts.

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 47 N·m (35 lb ft).

  10. Install the right lower engine mount nuts.

    11. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 47 N·m (35 lb ft).

  11. Lower the vehicle.
  12. Remove the engine support fixture.
  13. Install the engine mount strut with the engine mount strut bracket at the upper radiator support.
  14. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
