Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 601175 Size: SH
  1. Remove the AIR bracket bolts (2).

    2. Object Number: 601160 Size: SH
  2. Remove the AIR shut-off valve outlet pipe bolt and the nut (2).

    3. Object Number: 650768 Size: SH
  3. Remove the AIR shut-off valve to the outlet pipe fasteners.
  4. Remove the AIR shut-off valve outlet pipe.
  5. Clean the gasket surfaces as necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 601160 Size: SH
  1. Install the AIR shut-off valve outlet pipe (1).

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.


    Object Number: 650768 Size: SH
  2. Install the AIR shut-off valve to the outlet pipe fasteners.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the AIR shut-off valve outlet pipe bolt and the nut (3).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt and the nut to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the AIR bracket bolts (2).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
