J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
2. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical.



3. Reposition the inlet heater hose clamp from the heater core use J 38185 .
4. Remove the inlet heater hoses from the heater core.



5. Reposition the inlet heater hose clamp from the water crossover pipe use J 38185 .
6. Remove the inlet heater hose from the water crossover pipe.

1. Install the inlet heater hose to the heater core.

Important: Position the heater hose clamp in the indicated location.

2. Reposition the the heater hose clamp to the heater core use J 38185 .



3. Install the inlet heater hose to the water crossover pipe.
4. Reposition the heater hose clamp to the water crossover pipe use J 38185 .
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
