Removal Procedure

  1. Position the seat forward.
  2. Remove the seat adjuster-to-floor bolts and tilt the seat forward.

  3. Object Number: 651902  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the two electric connectors.

  5. Object Number: 651903  Size: SH
  6. Cut the tie straps on each side of the module.
  7. Remove the heated seat module from the car.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the heated seat module under the seat.

  2. Object Number: 651902  Size: SH
  3. Connect the electric connectors.

  4. Object Number: 651903  Size: SH
  5. Install the tie straps on each side of the module.
  6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Install the front bucket seat adjuster-to-floor pan bolts.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the front bucket seat adjuster-to-floor pan bolts to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  9. Move the seat to its original position.
