Removal Procedure

    Important: The floor carpet consists of a molded 1-piece carpet over both the front and the rear floor pan.

  1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
  2. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Remove the I/P insulators. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side and to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  4. Remove the front seat belts and buckles. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Left Front and to Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Right Front in Seat Belts.
  5. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  6. Remove the carpet retainers. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement or to Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  7. Reposition the front and the rear door weather strip.
  8. Remove the trim panel from the lower center pillar. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  9. Lift up the quarter lower trim panel and slide the carpet out from under the panel.

  11. Pull the carpet from the front and from the rear of the floor.

  13. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 181735  Size: SH

    Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

  1. Align the carpet to the front and to the rear of the floor.
  2. Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Lift up the quarter lower trim panel and slide the carpet under the panel.
  4. Install the carpet retainers. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement or to Rear Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  5. Install the front seat belts and buckles. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Left Front and to Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Right Front in Seat Belts.
  6. Install the quarter lower trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement .

  8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  9. Install the I/P insulators. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side and to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  10. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  11. Install the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
