Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 292975 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left front fender brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement in Body Front End.
  2. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector (2).
  3. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 293431 Size: SH
  4. Release the clips on the air cleaner cover.
  5. Remove the housing cover and remove the air cleaner element.
  6. Inspect the housing cover, the seal assembly, and the air cleaner duct for damage. If a problem is found, replace as necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 293431 Size: SH
  1. Install the air cleaner element into the air cleaner assembly.
  2. Install the air cleaner housing cover and install the clips to the cover.
  3. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 292975 Size: SH
  4. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector (2).
  5. Install the left front fender brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement in Body Front End.
