REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY INOP (INSTALL NEW TRANSMITTER)

SUBJECT: REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (AUO) FOB PERFORMANCE (INSTALL NEW TRANSMITTER)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991 OLDSMOBILE AND BUICK C-CAR

This bulletin has been revised to add a part number for Oldsmobile.

CONDITION:

--------- Owners of "C" vehicles (built prior to 9/17/90) may comment about three possible conditions relating to the performance of the Key FOB (transmitter) for the Remote Keyless Entry System.

1. The case prematurely breaks at the attachment ring.

2. The transmitter may operate intermittently.

3. The useful range of operation is too short.

CORRECTION:

---------- A new transmitter has been released for service. Order part number 25602668 (Buick) or 25602667 (Oldsmobile).
