SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT THAT THE REAR COMPARTMENT LID MAY DRIFT DOWN WHEN THE VEHICLE IS PARKED ON AN INCLINE OR IF A STRONG WIND CATCHES THE LID.
THE INITIAL SETTING OF THE REAR COMPARTMENT LID TORQUE RODS DOES NOT PROVIDE SUFFICIENT TENSION TO HOLD THE REAR COMPARTMENT LID IN THE OPEN POSITION.
ADJUST REAR COMPARTMENT LID TORQUE RODS USING TORQUE ROD ADJUSTMENT TOOL, J-41358-1, TO INCREASE TORQUE ROD OUTPUT. REFER TO FIGURE 1.
