Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 629587 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left underdash or insulator panel.
  2. Remove the accelerator controls cable from the accelerator pedal.
  3. Remove the accelerator controls pedal retainer.
  4. Remove the accelerator controls pedal assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 629587 Size: SH

    Important: The mounting surface between the support and dash panel must be free of insulation. The carpet and padding in the pedal area must be positioned to lay flat and be free of wrinkles and bunches.

  1. Install the accelerator controls pedal assembly).
  2. Install the accelerator controls pedal retainer.

    3. Important: Check for complete throttle opening and closing positions by operating accelerator controls pedal. Also check for poor carpet fit under the accelerator controls pedal. The throttle should operate freely without bind between full closed and wide open throttle (WOT).

  3. Install the accelerator cable on the accelerator controls pedal.
  4. Install the left underdash or insulator panel.
