Action

The caster is uneven or incorrect.

Inspect and adjust the wheel alignment as necessary. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement in Wheel Alignment.

The lower control arm is loose or damaged.

Repair or replace the control arm as necessary. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement in Front Suspension.

The lower control arm ball joint is loose or worn.

Replace the lower control arm ball joint. Refer to Lower Control Arm Ball Joint Replacement in Front Suspension.

The lower control arm front (vertical) bushing is worn or damaged.

Replace the lower control arm ball joint. Refer to Lower Control Arm Bushings Replacement - Front in Front Suspension.

The brake rotors exhibit excessive lateral runout.

Refinish or replace the rotors as needed.

Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement in Disc Brakes.

The springs are broken or sagging.

Replace the springs as needed.

Refer to Strut, Strut Component, and Spring Replacement in Front Suspension.

The wheel bearings are worn or loose.

Replace the wheel bearing/hub. Refer to Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement in Front Suspension.

The brake caliper is leaking.

Repair or replace the brake caliper. Refer to Front Brake Caliper Overhaul in Disc Brakes.
