Improperly controlled relative motion between components causes squeaks and rattles. Use the following ways in order to prevent the squeak or rattle:

1. Attach the component securely in order to eliminate any relative motion during operation.
2. Separate the components in order to prevent contact under operating conditions.
3. Insulate the components in order to prevent squeaks or rattles occurring with the relative motion between components. Low uniform friction surfaces may be provided in order to eliminate stickslip motion.
