Symptom

There may be a buzzing noise from either end of the windshield cowl screen when the vehicle is traveling at 35 mph or greater.

Possible Cause

The windshield cowl screen is just loose enough at the end to move up causing buzz.

Diagnosis

Place a wedge of paper under the windshield cowl screen end and record any changes in the noise heard.

Corrective Action

Add a piece of adhesive backed foam, 1-2 mm. thick to the underside of the cowl panel at the end edge.
