Symptom

There may be a popping noise coming from the front door rear edge, center position.

Possible Cause

The front door striker is misadjusted in relation to the door latch.

Diagnosis

The door will drag on the striker if it is misadjusted when the door is initially opened.

Corrective Action

Readjust the striker and record any changes to the noise heard.
