CENTER CONSOLEDOOR DOES NOT LATCH (REP. CENTER CONSOLE

SUBJECT: CENTER CONSOLE DOOR DOES NOT LATCH (REPLACE CENTER CONSOLE BIN LATCH ASSEMBLY AND STRIKER PLATE)

MODELS: 1996 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE

CONDITION:

SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT THAT THE CENTER CONSOLE DOOR IS NOT LATCHING.

CAUSE:

THE CONSOLE LATCH MECHANISM MAY NOT BE FUNCTIONING PROPERLY, CAUSING THE DOOR TO NOT LATCH TO THE CONSOLE BIN.

CORRECTION:

REPLACE THE CENTER CONSOLE BIN LATCH ASSEMBLY AND STRIKER PLATE. SEE BELOW FOR PART NUMBERS.
