SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT THAT THE VEHICLE'S COMPASS DISPLAY IS TOO DIM, HAS AN UNEVEN DISPLAY OR NO DISPLAY.
SOME DISPLAYS MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROPERLY BURNED IN AT THE MANUFACTURER. THIS COULD CAUSE THE DISPLAY TO BE DIM IN SOME SEGMENTS OR NO DISPLAY.
POWER THE DISPLAY TO FULL ILLUMINATION FOR 30 MINUTES. RESTART THE VEHICLE AND CHECK EACH SEGMENT TO BE SURE THERE IS AN EVEN ILLUMINATION ON THE DISPLAY. IF THERE ARE STILL SEGMENTS IN THE DISPLAY THAT ARE UNEVEN OR DO NOT LIGHT, THEN REQUEST A REMANUFACTURED CLUSTER FROM AN AUTHORIZED AC-DELCO SERVICE CENTER.

THEY ARE WRITTEN TO INFORM THOSE TECHNICIANS OF CONDITIONS THAT MAY OCCUR ON SOME VEHICLES, OR TO PROVIDE INFORMATION THAT COULD ASSIST IN THE PROPER SERVICE OF A VEHICLE. PROPERLY TRAINED TECHNICIANS HAVE THE EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND KNOW-HOW TO DO A JOB PROPERLY AND SAFELY. IF A CONDITION IS DESCRIBED, DO NOT ASSUME THAT THE BULLETIN APPLIES TO YOUR VEHICLE, OR THAT YOUR VEHICLE WILL HAVE THAT CONDITION. SEE A GENERAL MOTORS DEALER SERVICING YOUR BRAND OF GENERAL MOTORS VEHICLE FOR INFORMATION ON WHETHER YOUR VEHICLE MAY BENEFIT FROM THE INFORMATION.
