Battery positive voltage (B+) is applied at all times through the IP fuse block CIGAR LTR fuse to the cigar lighter on CKT 440 (ORN). When the cigar lighter is pressed in, the cigar lighter heating element is provided a ground path through CKT 1250 (BLK) and heats up. When the heating element reaches a predetermined value, the cigar lighter will pop out, thus interrupting the circuit. There is also a rear console cigar lighter (Pontiac w/ D55) located in the rear of the center console.
Battery postive voltage (B+) is applied through the RH IP fuse block DR LKS fuse to the accessory power outlet on CKT 1732 (ORN) via the body control module (MALL) . When an accessory is plugged in, it completes the ground path through CKT 1250 (BLK).
Battery positive voltage (B+) is applied through the RH IP fuse block IP AUX OUTLET fuse to the accessory power outlet on CKT 739 (PNK). When an accessory is plugged in, it completes the ground path through CKT 1250 (BLK).
