  1. Disconnect instrument cluster connector C1.
  2. Using a DMM measure the voltage at the following terminals:
    3. • terminal A9 (Buick).
    • terminal C1 (Olds).
    • terminal B16 (Pont).

Is the voltage as specified?

10-15 V

Repair the open in one of the following circuits:

    • CKT 1360(LT. GRN/BLK)(Buick).
    • CKT 11(LT. GRN)(Olds).
    • CKT 11(LT. GRN)(Pont).

Is the repair complete?

Inspect for poor contact at the following terminals:

    • terminal A9(Buick).
    • terminal C1(Olds).
    • terminal B16(Pont).

Are the connections ok?
