Do the high beam headlamps function properly?

  1. Disconnect instument cluster connector C1.
  2. Headlamps OFF.
  3. Using a DMM measure the voltage at the following terminals:
    4. • terminal A9 (Buick).
    • terminal C1 (Olds).
    • terminal B16 (Pont).

Is the voltage as specified?

10-15 V

Go to Step 4

Replace the instrument cluster.

Is the replacement complete?
