The driver information center (DIC) is a 2 color vacuum fluorescent (VF) display that contains the following information:

•	The odometers

•	The warning indicators

•	The lamp monitor displays

•	A graphic representation of the vehicle

Lamp Monitor Bulb Usage Table

Important: When replacing a bulb, replace the bulb with the same type. If you use the incorrect bulb type, the DIC will continue to display a bulb outage.

Follow the chart below before proceeding with the diagnosis.

If the bulb indicator outages are displayed on the driver information center (DIC), follow the chart below in order to determine if a bulb is burnt out. Also verify proper bulb type.

The high beam indicator turns on.

The 2 high beam bulbs

The low beam indicator turns on.

The 2 low beam bulbs

The park lamp turns on.

•	The left side:

-	The 1 park/turn bulb

-	The 1 side marker bulb

•	The right side:

-	The 1 park/turn bulb

-	The 1 side marker bulb

The turn lamps turn on.

The 4 turn signal bulbs:

•	The left side front bulb

•	The right side front bulb

•	The left side rear bulb

•	The right side rear bulb

The taillamp indicator turns on.

•	The 4 tail bulbs:

-	The 2 left bulbs

-	The 2 right bulbs

•	The 2 license bulbs

•	The 4 tail/turn/stop bulbs

•	The 2 rear side marker bulbs:

-	The 1 left bulb

-	The 1 right bulb

The backup indicator turns on.

The 2 backup bulbs

The brake lamp indicator turns on.

The 4 stop/turn tail bulbs
The 1 CHMSL bulb

The taillamp indicator and the brake indicator turn on together.

The 4 stop/turn/tail bulbs:

•	The 2 left bulbs

•	The 2 right bulbs
