  1. Set the valet switch to the UNLOCK position.
  2. Press the rear compartment lid release switch mounted on the instrument panel.

The rear compartment lid opens.

  1. Set the valet switch to the UNLOCK position.
  2. Press the rear compartment lid release button on the keyless entry transmitter.

The rear compartment lid opens.
    •  Rear Release Inoperative with Transmitter in Keyless Entry

Using the keyless entry transmitter, perform the following functions:

    • The door lock function
    • The door unlock function
    • The panic alarm function

The transmitter activates the following functions on command:

    • Lock
    • Unlock
    • Panic alarm

The keyless entry transmitter functions do not operate. Refer to Remote Keyless Entry System Check in Keyless Entry
