Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 592528 Size: SH

    Important: These moldings require the removal of the window for proper installation.

  1. Remove the windshield. Refer to Windshield Replacement .
  2. Remove the reveal molding.
    3. • Grasp the lower corner of the windshield reveal molding by hand and slowly pull the reveal molding away from the windshield.
    •  If the windshield reveal molding will not release, use a utility knife in order to cut around the windshield in order to remove the windshield reveal molding.
    • The windshield reveal molding fills the cavities between the body and windshield and can not be reused if stretched or damaged.

Installation Procedure

  1. Use your hand in order to press the reveal molding onto the windshield or rear window.

    2. Install the reveal molding as follows:

    1.1. Locate the molding corners to the locator line at the windshield corners.
    1.2. Install the molding starting from the corners working toward the center.
    1.3. Roll the molding to the glass starting from the corners using the roller specified.
  2. Install the windshield. Refer to Windshield Replacement .
