Removal Procedure
- Lower the headliner in order to access the drain hose connections. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Cut the tie wraps from the drain hoses.
- Remove the drain hoses from the sunroof module.
- Remove the interior moldings in order to access the drain hose retaining clips. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement and Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Remove the tape from the drain hoses.
- Remove the front drain hoses from the retaining clips.
- Remove the rear upper drain hoses from the retaining clips.
- Fold back the rear compartment trim.
- Remove the rear lower drain hose (1) from the retaining clips.
Installation Procedure
- Clip the rear lower drain hoses (1) into position.
- Clip the rear upper drain hoses into position.
- Clip the front drain hoses into position.
- Install the interior moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement and Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Install the drain hoses to the drain spouts on the sunroof module.
- Secure the drain hoses to the sunroof module with new tie wraps.
- Install the headliner to the roof. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
Important: When installing the new drain hose tie wraps, position the tie wraps in order to maintain clearance between the tie wraps and the headliner.
Notice: Use care when removing and installing the headliner. If reusing the headliner lay the headliner down flat on a clean surface. Excessive bending will damage the headliner.
