Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 521892 Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle In General Information.
  2. Support the powertrain assembly with a suitable jack.
  3. Remove the nut (1) securing the transmission mount to the transmission mount bracket.

    4. Object Number: 154970 Size: SH
  4. Lower the jack allowing the engine to lower slightly.
  5. Remove the transmission mount bracket mounting bolts (3) and nut (2).
  6. Remove the transmission mount bracket (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 154970 Size: SH
  1. Install the transmission mount bracket (1) to the transmission.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the transmission mount bracket mounting bolts (3) and nut (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts and nut to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  3. Raise the engine and transmission assembly into position.

    4. Object Number: 521892 Size: SH
  4. Install the nut (1) to the mount and mount bracket.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the mount nut to 75 N·m (55 lb ft).

  5. Remove the engine assembly support jack.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
