To activate the instrument panel backlighting during the day, turn the exterior lamp switch to the parking lamp or headlamp position. Dimming of the instrument panel display is not possible during daylight hours. The instrument panel display can only be adjusted when the parking lamps or headlamps are on and it is dark outside.
