DISTRIBUTOR 'O' RING INCLUDED WITH ALL CAMPAIGN ENGINE

BEGINNING APRIL 21, 1988 REPLACEMENT CAMPAIGN ENGINE KITS SHIPPED FROM THE PLANT WILL INCLUDE A NEW RUBBER O-RING, P/N 1979784, FOR THE DISTRIBUTOR.

REMOVE AND DISCARD THE OLD O-RING AND INSTALL THE NEW O-RING ONTO THE DISTRIBUTOR. COAT THE NEW O-RING WITH CLEAN ENGINE OIL PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE DISTRIBUTOR INTO THE ENGINE.
