BLOWN GAUGE FUSE-1984 FIERO 20 AMP FUSE REPLACEMENT

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984 Pontiac Fiero

A condition may occur from repeated deck lid release operation which could cause the 10 amp gauge fuse tu blow. Loss of this circuit will also affect operation of the voltmeter, TCC, cruise control, rear window, defogger, 'Lights On' chime and tachometer.

To repair the above condition, the amperage rating of this fuse has been changed to 20 amps. Sbould you experience a blown gauge fuse and no evidence of a short or ground is apparent, install a 20 amp fuse in the gauge plug of the fuse block.
