TPS/TROUBLE CODE 22 INTERMITTENT TPS SWITCH

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984 Fiero

A stored code 22 could be caused by:

1. an intermittent TPS switch or 2. a poor connection at the TPS harness connector

If this condition occurs, replace the TPS switch with a new TPS kit, Part Number 17110648. The male TPS harness connector should be inspected for poor connections and the contact pins (male) should make sufficient contact to the TPS plug.
