GENERAL DESCRIPTION: USE HIGH PRESSURE WATER (100 TO 1000 PSI) DIRECTED UNDER THE FILM TO LIFT THE COATING.
TRANSEAL REMOVAL PROCEDURE:
1. WET THE ENTIRE VEHICLE SURFACE WITH WATER, TO REMOVE ANY DIRT OR CONTAMINATION, AND SOFTEN THE COATING.
2. USING HIGH WATER PRESSURE, START AT AN OUTBOARD AREA AND AT 4" TO 12" FROM THE SURFACE, SPRAY UNDERNEATH THE COATING. THE SPRAY ACTION LIFTS THE COATING AND CREATES A "BUBBLE" OF COATING WHICH CAN BE GATHERED AND REMOVED FROM THE VEHICLE.
3. CONTINUE TO SPRAY UNDER THE COATING TO RELEASE THE COATING FROM THE EXTERIOR SURFACE. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SMALL PIECES AT EDGES OR THINLY SPRAYED AREAS MAY REMAIN ON EXTERIOR SURFACE.
4. REMOVE SMALL PIECES OR THINLY SPRAYED AREAS USING REMOVER SOLUTION, GM P/N 12346295, FOLLOWING ALL MANUFACTURERS' SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS PRINTED ON LABEL, AND A CLEAN RAG **ONLY**. USE THE REMOVER SOLUTION TO CLEAN AREAS BETWEEN HOOD AND FENDERS, DOORS AND FENDERS, DOORS AND QUARTERS, DECK LID AND QUARTERS, ETC.
5. WASH THE VEHICLE IN NORMAL MANNER.
6. INSPECT THE EXTERIOR SURFACE IN THE NORMAL MANNER.
