Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the console door and the trim plate. Refer to Section 8C.
  2. Remove the brake transmission shift interlock (BTSI) solenoid from the floorshift control bracket.
  3. Disconnect the BTSI solenoid electrical connector.

Installation Procedure
  1. Connect the BTSI solenoid electrical connector.
  2. Install the brake transmission shift interlock (BTSI) solenoid to the floorshift control bracket.
  3. Install the console door and the trim plate. Refer to Section 8C.
