bolt.
- Remove the pressure control solenoid retainer.
- Remove the pressure control solenoid from the control valve body.
- Remove the TCC solenoid bolts.
- Remove the pass-through electrical connector from the transmission
case.
- Use the small end of J 28458
over the top of the connector. Twist in order to release the
four tabs. Pull the harness connector from the transmission case.
- Remove the TCC solenoid with the wiring harness from the transmission
case.
Installation Procedure
- Install the TCC solenoid with wiring harness to the transmission
case.
- Install the pass-through electrical connector to the transmission
case.
- Install the TCC solenoid bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 11 N·m (97 lb in).
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
