Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Suitably support the vehicle. Refer to General Vehicle Lifting and Jacking in General Information.
  2. Use a transmission jack in order to support the transmission.
  3. Remove the transmission support member. Refer to Body Dimensions and Underbody.
  4. Lower the transmission.

    5. Object Number: 38129 Size: SH
  5. Remove the ventilation hose from the transmission ventilation tube at the transmission.

    6. Object Number: 38131 Size: SH
  6. Remove the ventilation hose clip from the transmission support. Squeeze the clip tabs in order to remove the from the holes in the transmission support.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 38131 Size: SH
  1. Install a new ventilation hose clip around the ventilation hose 37 mm from the end of the hose.
  2. Install the ventilation hose clip into the holes at the rear side of the transmission support.

    3. Object Number: 38129 Size: SH
  3. Install the ventilation hose to the transmission ventilation tube at the transmission.
  4. Raise the transmission using a transmission jack.
  5. Install the transmission support member. Refer to Body Dimensions and Underbody.
  6. Remove the support from the transmission.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
