Perform the keyless entry transmitter test. Refer to Transmitter Test .

2. Test the keyless entry system.

Did the keyless entry system operate normally?

System OK

Go to Step 2

1. Disconnect the BCM connector C2.
2. Connect a test lamp from connector C2 terminal B to terminal A.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

1. Test for poor connections to the BCM.
2. If the connections are OK, replace the BCM.

Refer to Body Control Module Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Repair the open or a bad connection in circuit 40 between the BCM and fuse 8.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

--
