Tools Required

    • J 24086-C Piston Pin Remover/Installer
    • J 24086-150 Fork Insert
    • J 24086-900 Universal Fork

    Object Number: 236178 Size: SH

    Caution: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.

  1. Remove the piston rings from the pistons. Use a suitable tool in order to expand the rings.

    2. Object Number: 4967 Size: SH
  2. Mark, separate, and organize the rings for assembly.

    3. Object Number: 4965 Size: SH
  3. Press the piston pin from the connecting rod using the J 24086-C .

    4. The piston pin has an interference fit into the connecting rod, and is full floating in the piston.
