For 1990-2009 cars only
- Run the engine at normal idle with the transaxle in the neutral position and the clutch in the disengaged position.
- Engage the clutch. Then wait approximately 9 seconds before shifting the transaxle into the reverse position.
- Verify the clutch for disengagement if a grinding noise is heard.
