For 1990-2009 cars only
- Ensure that the front wheels are in the straight ahead position.
- Turn the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) coil slowly counterclockwise by hand until the SIR coil reaches the stop.
- Turn the SIR coil clockwise 2½ times.
- Align the arrows (1).
