Did you perform the Audible Warnings System Check?

  1. Disconnect the audio alarm module connector.
  2. Turn the light switch to the PARK position or to the HEAD position.
  3. Use a test lamp in order to probe the audio alarm module connector from cavity 2 to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the open in the RED/YEL wire between cavity 2 of the audio alarm module and S219. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Inspect for a poor connection at the audio alarm module.
  2. If the connection is OK, replace the audio alarm module. Refer to Audio Alarm Module Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
